About Me

​

I'm a calm and friendly instructor with a good sense of humour, and my aim is to help you to enjoy your lessons whilst progressing as quickly and comfortably as you feel able to do.

I'm currently 51 years old (November 2024) and I'm married to a Californian lady. We have a 10-year-old child, 8-year-old twins, a 5-year-old, I also have a 29-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

My main hobby/love is riding out on my motorbike. There is nothing better than crossing over into Europe and just heading off with only a rough idea of where you want to go.

I've spent my life riding or driving something -- motorbikes, lorries, cars, forklifts, go-carts -- and I used to teach track skills for corporate days many years ago.

I have enjoyed driving from my very first lesson, 34 years ago, right to this very day; I want to pass that on to you, not just to get you through the test but also to give you skills for life so we can make it a happier and safer place out there.
